Operate overview
What the product app is for: organizations, sites, people, and the areas you’ll watch next.
GroundStatus Operate is the product app: the place you sign in, pick a site, and eventually connect cameras so the coworker can watch what’s happening.
This site’s marketing pages explain the idea. These docs track what the app can do today as we build toward the alpha demos (QR phone camera, monitors, reconciliation).
Words we use
- Organization — your account. Holds every site your team watches.
- Site — one physical place (plant, warehouse, gym, gate, jobsite).
- Area — a space in that site where cameras nest.
- Map — the site canvas that shows areas as cards.
- Camera / Check / Alert — plain labels for Source / Observer / Monitor in the engine.
