Principles

How we think about plant floors before any feature ships.

Your footage stays yours
Cameras stay on your network. We do not sell, share, or use plant video to train someone else’s model.
Watch the work, not the person
Jobs are about gowning, lanes, airlocks, and PPE — not facial recognition or individual scorecards.
You control who sees what
Findings go only to the people and channels you invite. Nothing lands on a public dashboard.
You set retention
Clips tied to a finding follow your plant’s policy. When retention ends, they’re gone.

Privacy

What we process, what we don’t, and who decides.

Plant video and camera data

GroundStatus connects to the cameras or NVR you already operate. Frames are read to answer the jobs you configure — for example gowning gaps, open airlocks, or forklifts in the wrong lane.

Video is processed for your plant’s use. It is not sold, not shared with third parties for their marketing, and not used to train models for other customers.

Plant IT receives a clear data-flow diagram before anything connects. Deployment options (including keeping processing closer to the floor) are scoped with your team.

People on camera

The product is built to watch the work, not to identify individuals for their own sake. We do not offer facial recognition or employee productivity scorecards.

Alerts and clips exist so QA, production, and EHS can respond to floor conditions you defined. How you communicate findings to staff remains under your policies and labor rules.

This website and contact data

If you book a demo or email us at hello@groundstatus.com, we use the information you provide only to respond, schedule, and follow up about GroundStatus.

We do not sell website contact data. If we use a scheduling or form provider, that vendor processes data only to deliver that service under their own terms.

Cookies and analytics

The marketing site may use essential cookies for basic operation. If we add analytics, we will prefer privacy-respecting tools and avoid selling personal data derived from browsing.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may affect how the site behaves.

Security

Access, network boundaries, retention, and how to reach us.

Access control

Only people you invite can see findings — typically QA, production, and EHS leads. Access is scoped to the roles and channels you choose.

We expect customers to manage their own identity and invite hygiene (who is added, who is removed when they leave the plant).

Network and deployment

Cameras remain on your network. GroundStatus is designed so plant IT understands where frames go, what leaves the site, and what stays local — before go-live.

Security reviews, architecture diagrams, and environment-specific constraints are part of onboarding, not an afterthought.

Retention and deletion

You set how long clips and findings are kept, aligned with your plant’s own retention policy.

When a retention window ends, associated clips are removed according to that policy. Ask your account contact if you need a formal deletion confirmation for a pilot or audit.

For privacy or security questions, email hello@groundstatus.com. For suspected misuse of access or a security concern involving your tenant, contact us the same way and mark the subject clearly so we can prioritize it.
