Map
Open a site to leave the org shell and work on the map. Areas nest next.
Click a site (or land there after signup) to leave the organization shell and enter the Map — same idea as opening a Railway project. Org nav (People, Settings) steps aside; a top breadcrumb is how you get back.
For the first-session checklist and demo path, see Getting started.
Chrome
- Top bar: GroundStatus → Sites → this site (switcher). Add area on Map.
- Icon rail: Map · Monitors · Chat · Settings (site-scoped — not the org sidebar).
- Mark or Sites returns you to the sites list and the org sidebar.
- Site switcher jumps between places and keeps the section you’re on.
Areas
- Each area card is a square (~25% of the canvas) with name, camera count, and nested sources.
- Gear on an area card opens area settings — rename and set area-level context (under the site brief).
- Add area from the top bar (or the empty card on a new map).
- New sites start with a “Default Area”.
Settings
- Details — name, slug, timezone, status (draft / active / paused).
- Context — what this place is, what it’s for, and what matters. Checks and chat inherit it as global background (skill-file idea).
Cameras
Add camera is stubbed for now — phone QR, file upload, and RTSP attach next, inside the area card.
